"We need to innovate our way out of trouble," said Carlo van de Weijer at the opening ceremony of Intertraffic Amsterdam 2024. Van de Weijer, Managing Director of the Eindhoven AI Systems Institute at TU Eindhoven, said that technology is needed to decarbonize traffic - and to make the world's roads safer. Saferoad is also playing its part!
Saferoad is known to share the "Vision Zero". Saferoad was able to lay another building block for this in Amsterdam with the new product from the CrashGuard family. As the new product manager, Tim Tusar enthusiastically presented the Crash Cushion CrashGuard 6S-A. Many interested visitors and customers engaged in lively discussions with the employees on site. This expansion of the product portfolio is a further step towards "Vision Zero".
The highlight of this year's trade fair in Amsterdam was undoubtedly the stand party on Wednesday afternoon. Invited customers, visitors and of course the Saferoaders were able to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere with music and good food and round off the day on the second day of the trade fair.
In contrast to purely digital interactions, Intertraffic once again offered the opportunity to meet (future) customers and partners in person. True to the motto: A direct conversation can often achieve more than an e-mail exchange!
