In the case of a crossing overlying infrastructure of national highways (motorway), an H2 containment level must always be applied. Since according to EN-1317 a higher retaining capacity covers a lower retaining capacity, an H2 level is also sufficient in the case of a prescribed H1, N1 or T1 level.

The vehicle-restraining parapets that Saferoad offers are CE marked and tested in accordance with EN 1317-2 and can be used instead of the RWS reinforced parapet. The parapets are characterised by the fact that the design of the elements has been carefully considered. The parapets will therefore not look out of place on your artwork.
