Renovated guardrail - Guaranteed safe reuse of dismantled guardrail

Quality assurance where absolutely nothing is left to chance

A second life and certified conform NEN EN1317-5

Manufacturers

Only manufacturers can market the product guardrail. All product types have undergone full-scale crash tests and the production of guardrail is then continuously supervised by a Notified Body. Strict requirements apply to the product itself and only products with the mandatory CE label in accordance with EN1317-5 are allowed on the European market.

Quality assurance

At our factory, all critical components of the old dismantled guardrail are subjected to a meticulous inspection. Fit, shape and steel quality are measured per component and digitally registered under a unique production number (visibly stamped into each inspected component).

Meticulous checking is an absolute requirement, because simply reassembling the components (regalvanized or not) of a previously dismantled guardrail into a new guardrail does not automatically make it a new safe guide rail.

Liability

RenoRail and CircuRail produce for Saferoad and can prevent reuse leading to concessions in safety. Because the client must be able to trust the quality assurance and RenoRail and CircuRail can take appropriate measures afterwards due to the unique numbering in the individual components. In the event that something unexpectedly went wrong during production or during the installation of the construction in question. RenoRail and CircuRail accept this product liability.

Unsafe constructions

A number of old NEN 5190 types can no longer be marketed under CE, a manufacturer will take responsibility for this and propose an alternative CE marked system.

Saferoad therefore only supplies guide rail systems with CE marking in accordance with NEN EN1317-5:2007+A2:2012/C1:2012.
